Hi, I'm Ben. I fix windshields.
I've been doing auto glass for over forty years. I come to your driveway, office, or job site anywhere in the Rome area. Most chip repairs take twenty minutes, and I can often get to you the same day.

What I do
Windshield Chip Repair
Small chips (the size of a quarter or smaller) can almost always be repaired. The resin seals the damage and stops it from spreading.
Mobile Service
I come to you. Home, office, job site - wherever your vehicle is parked. No need to drive to a shop or wait in a waiting room.
Chip Check
Not sure if your damage is repairable? Answer four quick questions and I'll give you my best read before you call.
1. How big is the damage?
2. Is there a crack extending from it?
3. Where is the damage located?
Assessment Complete
Based on your answers, your damage appears to be repairable. Small chips with no cracks are the best candidates for repair.

A little about me
I've been fixing windshields since the 1980s. I started in a shop, then went mobile in the early 2000s because I saw how much easier it was for people if I came to them.
I'm not a big company. It's just me, my truck, and my tools. That means you get my attention, my experience, and my guarantee on every repair.

I serve Rome and all of Floyd County
If you're within about 20 miles of Rome, I can probably get to you. Just call and ask.
Common questions
How much does a chip repair cost?
Most chip repairs are $75-$125, depending on size and location. I'll give you a firm price when I see it. Cracks are usually $100-$150 if they're repairable.
Does insurance cover it?
Most comprehensive auto insurance covers windshield repair with no deductible. I can provide a receipt you can submit to your insurance company.
How long does the repair take?
Most chips take about 20 minutes. The resin needs a few minutes to cure, but you can drive away right after I'm done.
Will it look perfect?
A chip repair is a structural fix, not a cosmetic one. Its sole purpose is to seal the damage and keep it from spreading into a larger crack that would force a full windshield replacement. The appearance often improves, sometimes a lot, but that's a bonus - not a guarantee. You should expect a small mark to remain where the chip was.
Can you come to my workplace?
Absolutely. I repair windshields at homes, offices, job sites, schools - wherever your vehicle is parked during the day.
Ready to fix that chip?
Call or text me anytime. I'll answer if I'm not with a customer, and I'll call you back within an hour if I'm busy.
